What I think this means is if you are a different color, then you SHOULD be able to vote. It's dosn't make you different from being a normal person. Back then, they shouldnt have made black people go to the voting place, thinking that they are going to go and then be able to vote. Instead, they gave them hard tests. If they didn't put their middle name on the regristration sheet, they were automaticly disqualified. They may have to say the whole Constutution. Just because you are a different color dosn't mean that you shouldnt be able to that freedom to vote like all the other people in the world.
